The exhibition shows the face of climate change in the Maldives and documents the vulnerability of the fragile coral islands of the Maldives to climate change and sea level rise. The exhibition depicts a nation under threat, as it tries to safeguard an age-old culture and lifestyle that could be erased with rising seas and climate change.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-131\" title=\"IMG_0474\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bluepeacemaldives.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0474.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0474\" width=\"475\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bluepeacemv.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0474.jpg 475w, https:\/\/www.bluepeacemv.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0474-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Klimaforum09, is an alternate climate summit being held at DGI-Byen, Copenhagen, and is dubbed as the People\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Climate Summit. Thousands of activists, NGO members and environmental justice movements are participating in the Klimaforum09, while in the Bella Center, the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (Cop15) is being held.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-132\" title=\"IMG_0477\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bluepeacemaldives.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0477.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0477\" width=\"475\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bluepeacemv.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0477.jpg 475w, https:\/\/www.bluepeacemv.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/IMG_0477-300x152.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 475px) 100vw, 475px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bluepeace is excited by the prospect of attracting thousands of visitors to the exhibition Vulnerable.
